Welcome to the WMS Tiger Team Blog!  
We would like to introduce ourselves as the team teachers for your 6th grade experience.


Mr. Beckvold graduated from Bridgewater State University (B.A. in History) and from UMass Boston (M.A. in History).  He teaches Ancient Civilizations and ELA on the Tigers team and looks forward to year four in Winthrop.

Ms. Foley is a graduate of Winthrop High School (go Vikings!) and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (BFA Interior Design) and the University of Massachusetts at Boston (Masters in Elementary Education).  She teaches Math and Science on the Tigers team, and is excited to begin her 21st year teaching in Winthrop.
