We are setting out on another week of Remote Learning Opportunities.
Mr. Beckvold and Ms. Foley hope that you are all participating, staying engaged and busy, and that you are also staying home and staying safe.  
Please check your Google Classrooms for a guide that is specific to that subject, and don't forget to check in with your Specials GCs also!

If you need something to calm your nerves, you can check out this Monterey Bay Aquarium's Live Jellyfish Cam, which goes live at 1:00 in the afternoon here, Mon-Fri.

Also, please check out the new Winthrop Middle School Learning Opportunities site that was just created this week.  There are lots of great resources for you and your families!

Learning Opportunities coming to the Tiger Team!

Hello Tigers!  Get off the couch!!!  🤣😼
We hope you and your families are all safe at home!
Beginning this week, the Middle School teachers will be providing Learning Opportunities for our students.  These Learning Opportunities will be posted on each subject's Google Classroom, even for your Specials!  They should provide you with an activity to do each day for each subject.  So please check each Google Classroom for more information starting tomorrow!

For today (Monday), we think it would be a good idea to check all your website subscriptions to make sure you can log in to them at home.  A list of them is below.  If we have forgotten any specific websites, we will add them later.  Let us know if you can think of one that didn't make the list!  :)  Also, please let us know if you have any trouble logging in.  We can help!

Your learning should not stop just because school is out for a while!  😊 Here is a list of resources that you can use to keep current with your skills in History, English, Math, and Science. Feel free to go through them.

3. Try to read your O.R. book for 20 minutes each day.

4. Check out your Science Google Classroom for an interesting article about a star that was recently discovered.  Ms. Foley will add to the Google Classroom during the next few days.
